Fussy feed

My baby is almost 7 weeks old and for 1 feed of the day around half way through she will start gulping the milk down and crying/fussing like she’s in pain. If we take the bottle away she screams but also doesn’t drink it properly while it is in her mouth. We’ve tried winding her but she just screams until the bottle goes back in. On all other feeds she’s fine and drinks the milk normally. Not sure if this is just normal witching hour behaviour or if we are missing something? Any advice is really appreciated 🥴

My 8 week old has been doing this for a while now. No idea what it is! He ends up screaming so hard that it takes several goes to reintroduce the bottle. Quite distressing to be honest!

Mine is 6 weeks and does similar, but it’s normally when she’s over tired and refuses to sleep, so she’ll fuss around the bottle and then eventually I’ll rock her to sleep. Could it be something to do with that ?

Mine too 6 weeks old , im trying to see if there is a pattern but i still dont get it . Most of the time he does it so he needs to poop or release gas or he is too tired and he wants to feed before his 3 h. However mine does it only during the day while at night he wakes up 3h on the dot . So im starting to think its cuz he is tired and wants to drink for comfort but isnt actually hungry. Anyone else any idea 🤷‍♀️

My 6 week old does this too sometimes, as if she really wants the bottle, you put it in her mouth then she gets all fussy and screams and then it repeats. I've ordered some size 2 teats to see if thst helps
