Yeah I bled a lot after having my iud put in. I think it’s just normal for your body to get used to it and your hormones regulate. You’re only like 8 ish weeks postpartum so it’s normal to bleed that much too

I bled for 6 weeks and that was without any contraception being added to the mix x

I’m still bleeding 8 weeks pp and had the depot injection xx

I bled for 6 weeks pp and then another 2 after my IUD insertion (at 10 weeks pp) so this sounds pretty normal. If it doesn't stop in the next week or so or if it gets heavy I would reach out to your OB/midwife.

When I had my first C-section I bled a lot maybe until 10-12 weeks ppd

Was the iud hormonal or copper?

I had C section then started the pill after 7 weeks pp, I bled for 6 weeks PP, stopped for a week, bled again for another week, stopped for a few days then bled again for another week, it was none stop.

hmm, that sounds rough, I've heard some people bleed for a while after a c-section, but maybe check in with your doc just to be safe? here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "It's not uncommon for some women to experience prolonged bleeding after a C-section, especially if they had complications or retained placental tissue. However, bleeding that continues for an extended period, especially after an IUD insertion, should be evaluated. It's important to monitor for any signs of infection or excessive bleeding, such as soaking through a pad in an hour. Have you noticed any changes in the bleeding, such as increased heaviness or any unusual symptoms?
