They only let mine when I was in the labour suit but when I was in one of them rooms and once I’d had my baby they didn’t either
They changed the rules fairly recently. Partners can stay overnight now.
Just got out from a week (5 days with a baby) in the hospital & my partner was able to stay with us the whole time.
