Cot accessories

Babe turned 1 a couple of weeks ago and is still sleeping in our room. Every time there's something up (illness/teething) we revert to co-sleeping but now I'm trying to get her full time in her own bed (so that my husband can be back in our bed full time too!) But she loves to burrow with her head into pillows when she sleeps on our bed, I guess it's a comfort thing. I make a little cave of pillows and she always sleeps with her head in it. Any tips for an empty cot? I know it's recommended not to have anything but I think the transition of big bed incl. pillow cave to bare empty cot might be too much! A bumper wouldn't be snuggly enough I don't think... Any tips welcome :)

When babies are 1 it's okay to have a duvet, pillow and soft toys. Does she have a soft toy that she's attached to? If so, that could be a good suggestion. Cot only needs to be empty when they are under 1 x

Following, because I need tips too. I tried my baby girl with a flat pillow and cot duvet and she woke up within 2 hours 🙃 My cousin was in the same boat with the cosleeping and she put the L shaped pregnancy pillow in the cot and she said it worked like a dream

My boys slept with a duck feather pillow for the last couple of months as it’s the only thing that settles him. He uses a dummy which is in a lot of the night. He’s In my room right next to me and I check him constantly through the night as I’m a bad sleeper. He also sweats so sleeps in just a sleep suit and has a blanket on the cold nights that is below his arms. Again has done for months. When he rolls off the pillow I take it out the cot - it’s just how we work, and I’ll do what I can to let him have peace. (Yes I’m fully aware of SIDS before anyone says anything 😩)
