How ‘late’ are/were you?

Hello ladies! I’m currently 6 days past my due date of 26th March and I guess I’m just feeling a bit down and defeated that this baby is going to end up in an elective c-section (already decided I don’t want an induction). I don’t fancy either an induction or a c-section so I’m just feeling a bit crap tbh. What are your late birth stories? If you feel comfortable sharing ♥️

I’m 40+4 today and still no sign of baby coming 🙃 x

Mine came at exactly 41 weeks. I didn't want any intervention so was just waiting it out. I wasn't worried at all as I knew she would just come when she was ready :) Hopefully your little one makes an appearance soon!

I am 40+4 and feel very like you, I just have no signs at all he is coming- it’s so deflating isn’t it. From what I hear they just come when they’re ready. I think most nhs trusts are happy for you to wait until 42 weeks if you’d prefer x

41 weeks today! My first came at 41+3 after a sweep. I've had a sweep today so hoping this starts something🤞 I know it doesn't feel like it but there's still time for baby to come naturally. I had zero symptoms with my first before I went into labour so assuming this baby will be the same ☺️

I was 41+2 when I went into labour naturally. Had no prior signs, my waters partially broke but didn't have any contractions until I went to the hospital. Was only 1cm dilated at that point and baby was born 14 hrs later. Was a big 9lbs 14 oz though.

I had a c section this time due to baby being breech so he was born at 39 weeks exactly but my first came at 42+1 without induction or c section, they did break my waters after being in labour a little while though x

I felt the same but ended up going into labour naturally at 41+1. I walked to get my little girl from school and kerb walked all the way home, I don’t know if it helped! Hopefully it will start soon for you x

Thank you so much ladies ♥️
