A whole week ☹️

The longest I’ve been away from my daughter is about 2-3 days but a close family member who has watched her and my daughter loves going to her house has asked if she can take her for a week (5 days). I’m almost at the end of a difficult pregnancy and could really use the time to get the last bits set up for baby coming but at the same time I really don’t wanna be away from her for that long. I would still see her during the time she’s away for days out and stuff so it’s not like we’d not see each other for the full 5 days but I still kinda feel like I’d be sending her away ☹️ she loves it at their house gets on great with her dog and she has a garden she can play in (helpful in this weather lol I don’t have one) idk what to do

I'm sure I'd be the same to be completely honest if that was me, my daughter is 15 weeks +3 days so haven't been away from.her for more than an hour so far, but the anxiety of me even thinking of leaving her drives me round the bend 😅 But it does sound like it'll help you out and you'll be able to get more stuff done ready for your new family arrival & like you say atleast you'll still see her and spend time with her x Could you ask them to send you updates such as photos or videos, or even videocall? It's good that you are aware she likes it being at the family members house, that she likes their pooch too xx

@Samantha she always does video call in the morning when she’s up and at night before she goes to bed when she’s there and a few times during the day when she’s doing something cute or shouting for me lol but Idk she’s not long turned 2 and I normally end up a mess especially at night when she’s not here 😅 and the pregnancy hormones won’t help but I am struggling to get stuff done with her running about It would really help but I’ll miss my baby ☹️ and when I had her I was in hospital for more than a week so if it ends up being the same when I have this one it’ll most likely be her or my mum that has her x
