7 month old naps and bedtime

Hello mommas, I would like to ask you how is your 7 months old schedule. We currently don’t have any 🥹 we have a 3 nap a day situation that changes based on when she wakes up in the morning and on how much she sleeps for her naps. Recently including today she had 2 naps because she did decide not to sleep for her 3rd one. So at the moment she’s down for the night. I am absolutely terrified that she’ll wake up way too early in the morning 😅. Some advice?

Yeah it’s hard isn’t it 😂 we are in the same boat, he wakes up usually at 7am will go down for a nap 8:30-9am for usually 2 hours then his next nap is around 1pm for 30-40min then 4-4:30 for around 30 min then bed around 7-7:15 but all this can be thrown out just by one short nap like today he had to go bed 6:30 because his last nap he woke up at 4 and that boy can’t do a wake window longer than 2-2:15 it’s a pain 😂 there has been times where he woke up at 6am and had to go bed at 6. But he never woke up to early think he woke up at 6-6;30 when I put him down at 6 but another time he actually slept till 7am

We don't really have a schedule either! I just try and get him to sleep when he shows that he's tired and rubbing his face and fussy. Sometimes it's 3 short naps. Sometimes it's one long one and a one short one. All kinda depends on him really...I'm just sort of here for the ride! And to provide milk!

My baby is almost 9 month and we’ve been doing 2 naps since 6 months. Our schedule has been roughly: Wake up time 6:30 am 3/3.5/3.75 Bedtime 7:30pm ~ Cap naps at 2.5 hours. Before I used to cap them at 3h I’m a pain with her routine. So she has a very consistent schedule. So far, she’s sleep through the night some days and other days she wakes up at 4 am and I just give her the pacifier to settle and she goes back to sleep.

my LB has just turned 7 months and this is our schedule atm ( tho unplanned bc he kinda just did this himself) Wake up: roughly 8/8:30am nap at 11:30-12 (1hr-1.5hr) nap anywhere between 3:30-4:30pm for 30 minutes then bedtime at 7/7:30 (depending on last nap) i try to be consistent with wake windows more than with timings, and that helps him go down easier too. It’s hard but don’t stress too much try and figure out your LO wake windows then try and plan it out that way, and then slowly push bedtimes back half an hour every couple of days and they might start waking later? IDK if that will work but it’s worth a try xx

8:20am - Wake Up (Bottle and Breakfast) 9:30/10am - First Nap 12pm - Bottle and Lunch 2pm - Second Nap 4pm - Bottle 5pm - Dinner 8pm - Bedtime Each bottle is 8oz and my wee girl goes straight out at night x

We follow a 3/3/3 (sometimes 3.25 for last window depending on how he does) schedule 7:30-10:30 awake 10:30-12 nap 12-3 awake 3-4:30 nap 4:30-7:30/7:45 Sometimes we shift to a 7am start depending if he has swimming or music class etc.

I suggest u select a time which would work for you eg 7am and 7pm bed that way you will have a set routine and be able to make plans around naps. Set the alarm for the same time everyday. We do 7-7 Naps 9,12,3 ish.

@Charlie that is a good plan I will give it a try :)

@Andreea Colta let me know how it goes ☺️.

We don’t have a schedule, she sleeps when she is tired! Otherwise, it would be an unnecessary fight because of under or over tiredness She has 3 naps and usual ~2-3h wake window. No idea how and why you push your baby in such a fixed frame when their day and development is so different Huckleberry is a good indicator for me
