White string hanging out at the end

Hi I’m a surgical nurse and that looks like an internal stitch to me. If you sterilise some scissors and cut it as close to the skin as you can it’ll prevent you from catching it. Hope that helps x

Exact same thing happened to me, it’s the knot at the end of the stitches that has come undone. My GP snipped mines at my 6 week check and a little bit of undissolved loop came out a few days later on its own.
