Does your baby cry when you leave the room, or are they ok for a while?

We have a playpen in our playroom that is baby proofed, closed, and full of age appropriate toys. I've been struggling keeping up with chores lately now that baby wants to crawl everywhere, so I've been putting her in her playpen for 5-10 minutes so I can get a little bit done. My baby doesn't seem to mind at all, she's more than happy to play with her toys, and she doesn't seem to care that I'm not in the room during that time. I haven't tested it out to see how long she can go without seeing me, but I guess I expected her to get upset being by herself. Do I just have an independent little baby? We spend all day together and sing, read books, play, etc. along with her toddler sibling. Am I overthinking it?

I think your little one trusts you and knows that you are there ☺️ i dont think there is anything to worry about

Mine used to but at 10 months she really is okay. Sometimes (when she’s sleepy) she needs to see me or be held but other than that she is content with her toys or other people

If he’s in a good mood he can’t be left alone exploring or playing for a while. Other times he cries as soon as he is set down
