@Rhiannon I may try pumping again, I just can’t get on with it, I find it painful and takes over 10mins just to get 1 or 2 oz lol xx
If it’s painful it might be the wrong size horn/flange? I ended up changing my pump completely and found it didn’t hurt was comfortable and I ended up getting more milk than with my other pump. My other pump was terrible with the pain that I got really anxious about pumping as I knew it would hurt so bad. Likely hood she will drop a bottle/fed. And your milk supply will adjust to it. I think the only way to keep your supply up like it is now is to pump and freeze, maybe try a different brand pump altogether. My boy went from feeding 7 times a day to 4 maybe 5 but he eats a lot and always sharing my food too.
My health visitor said if they are getting 6 full wet nappies in 24 hours then they are getting enough x
My LG is 6 months 2 weeks and exclusively BF. I started weaning at 5 months 4 weeks and she has gone from 7/8 feeds a day too 5/6. It’s completely normal! I also was a worrier but my doctor reassured me it’s normal! As long as there are multiple wet nappies a day your all good x
@Aimee thank you! 🙏 xxx
My little one has dropped a bottle a day now since we started weaning, she'll have 4 a day and that's from a wake up time between 4am and 6am. If you're worried about your supply dropping you could try pumping and freezing? Just a thought of course as I don't know anything about breast feeding x
