Elective c section

I have a birthing plan meeting at the hospital this week. I’m wondering what to expect during this? Feel anxious I’ll just get shut down with my reasoning for wanting to elect in for a section, even though my midwife is supportive with my reasonings. I’m hoping it’s something that can be put in place but not needed as fingers crossed baby boy will come early and naturally which I’m happy to have a vaginal birth if that is the case. Due to having a 3rd degree tear with my first and healing well from it … I am hesitant being over due or induced and things being stressful that could end in either a emergency section or a tear the same or just as bad, on top of already having a toddler and I’ve just moved house/renovating while 30wks preg 🫠 I feel like I need to have something in place to make me feel less anxious about it all.

It wasn't a planned birth meeting but I had a consultant appointment after a scan today and she asked me about my birth plans, mentioned induction and I said I absolutely do not want an induction, I had a planned c-section due to breech my first baby and want a VBAC this time, with the caveat that I'd rather have a 2nd c-section than an induction. I've known alot of people have inductions and they've all gone horrible and turned into emergency c-sections anyway, and also did alot of research about what an induction involves so it's just not for me, and the consultant said OK, we can book a c-section for a sensible date after your due date, then if you don't go into labour naturally before we can postpone or go ahead with the section depending on the general scenario we're in at the time. If you flat out want a section, you can ask them if the section would just move to the date you start labouring on, if this is before the planned date? Then you'd know before hand what to expect

I’m not sure they’ll try to push you away from a c section with such a bad tear, my first baby was an emergency c section and my second was vaginal (both were induced) with a 3b tear which healed great, I found when I was expecting my second they pushed VBAC which I wanted anyway whereas this time they’re totally fine with either due to the tear and the risks if I tear that badly again! I’m hoping for another VBAC but they won’t actually note that down until 36 weeks in case I change my mind, which I won’t 😂
