Help with my hair postpartum!!

I have really been looking after my hair since having my baby (he is 16mo). I use the colour wow shampoo & conditioner. Hair syrup oil before washing and heat protector before drying. I only wash and style my hair 1/2 times a week, so barely use heat. I also take the ‘my vitamins’ hair vitamins but feel as though it’s not helping. I do get lowlights through my hair every 2 month but get regular trims. I think I’m going to get it cut shorter next time in the hope it will help. I just keep getting so many split ends and I feel like my hair comes out sooo much in the shower. Any treatments/hair vitamin suggestions is very much appreciated!!!!

Do you have your hair up all day? Xx

@Kimberley I only wear it up twice a weekish - when it’s getting greasy 😅 xx

Are you still taking your prenatals or like a one a day multivitamin? :)

Ahh! I was going to say I have my hair in permanent mum bun and my hair is just a mess lol 😂 are you stressed? Getting enough sleep? ❤️

Maybe it’s the weather change, do humans malt ? lol 😂

Do you sleep on a silk pillowcase? Or maybe try a bonnet?? I find that helps to reduce a lot of my breakage. I also do regular "search and destroy" trims on my ends to clip off the worst split ones

@Daisy no I’m not taking anything like that, literally just the hair skin and nails one x

@Kimberley loolllll I’m probably stressed and not getting enough sleep 🤣🤣 x

@Raqi omg nooo! I used to sleep on a silk pillowcase so will defos rebuy and look in to trimming my split ends x

I hate this part of post partum the hair falls at around the 3rd month 😢 last time I chopped it really short. Hang in there 💓

I don’t think there’s really anything that helps you not get pp hair loss. Around 4 months it just naturally happens bc all the hormones you had during pregnancy. It goes away around 6 months and your hair will grow back.
