What gets people more riled up?

I don’t have a son so I don’t have any skin in the circumcision game. 🫣😂

Idc for either because no one’s opinion can ever sway my stances unless logic and facts are shown. As for other folks, I’ve noticed it’s definitely the vaccinations.

I think people get way more heated with the vaccinated vs anti-vax topics than they do with circumcision vs. uncut topics. I tend to stay out of those discussions because I avoid conflict like the plague, but I will read the tea occasionally. 😅 I do notice more bashing when it comes to vaccination topics, so much so that they say people shouldn't have kids if they are anti Vax. I think it is an awful thing to say to someone because you never know their medical history.

As a former anti vaxxer. I know all the untrue unscientific crap they are going to spew before they even say it. And I’m right every time. And I roll my eyes every time knowing I used to try to say the same untrue crap.

Probably vaccines because the waves of anti vaxxers put all children in danger whereas circumcision is a bit more personal lol

Man, everything lately 😥 I've even seen someone get raged about people piercing baby girls ears, then we have all the crazy hateful political posts where people get attacked. It's honestly killing this app for me. This app used to be a place for support and advice for me. But now it feels like a bait trap to get attacked in certain posts, honestly. It's actually really sad. Honestly, all Parents and people are gonna have different opinions from others. I wish there were more respect in that fact. It's all been getting pretty heated on here.

@Bree I agree. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't an everyday thing, but dang, sometimes it's a political post every day or so and it just gets cringey.

@Crystal right! It's starting to get ridiculous. This is supposed to be a safe place for mothers to find friendship, support, advice, etc... yet, I'm seeing so much political stuff and mothers attacking other mothers 🙄😪😥 It's killing the purpose of this app.

Well, circumcision is a lot different than your kid having polio that ruins their entire life or some disease that kills them. One is a choice for parents, non vaxxers are other level ignorant

How about people that get their babies' ears pierced?? THAT'S just as bad as any circumcision

A cut penis doesn’t just heal and grow the foreskin back 💀 it’s cutting off thousands of nerve endings no matter what your reasoning is for doing it. I disagree with piercing a babies ears but it’s not even comparable, you’re not removing anything by getting an ear piercing and it usually can close up and look the same

@Dana 🦅♥️🤍💙 ya know, you’d be amazed how many girl moms are the ones that FREAK OUT, or will sound like they’d die on their opinion hill, without having any (hahah) skin in it. I found it interesting, tbh. Like will reprimand me as a boy mom with their opinions and “research” either way. Blew my mind.

These are both personal choices with medical backing on both sides. It’s important to make an informed decision without hating on those who make a different decision than you do (hypothetically speaking of course). I think the biggest reason these topics get heated is because both sides are very concerned about the health of others & the community as a whole, and will push their side out of good intention. With the vaccine debate, there is a lot of opinion-based hatred toward those who choose not to jab. This does nothing but divide.
