My baby slept 8/9 hours at about 10 weeks, I've honestly never questioned it. As long as they are at birthweight, I think it's okay

God no, enjoy it whilst it lasts

My 5 weeks old one just slept 6.5 hours. It's a one off, so not worried. He ate a lot yesterday during the day.

Totally normal! Enjoy the long sleep!!

No, you are blessed. My one year old has never slept that long in his life, that’s like an entire day worth of sleep for him 😭

Thanks all but how does your supply cope if in a month she goes back to regular night feeds

No that’s really good once they go back to and above their birthweight you don’t need to worry x

In regard to your supply it will adjust depending on baby’s needs and how often they’re feeding. If they drop the night feed permanently you may feel full a bit for a few days you could express in the night to keep supply up and save it if you bottle feed sometime or to be used in their food later on x

🥹🥹🥹 praying for this !!

No, when my baby was a newborn, she would sleep through the night and it freaked me out and the doctor said as long as she’s gaining weight and is fine, I don’t have to wake her up. He joked that she didn’t read the newborn manual and we should enjoy it. Now I wish I enjoyed it more, she’s 7 months and refuses to sleep through the night, if she’s in her crib, she wakes up like 85x. If I hold her, Cosleep, she only wakes up twice. It’s a struggle.

If she goes back to her night feeds, it will replenish as she sucks and tells the boobs “hi bitches, I’m back”

With her being so young your supply won’t have regulated yet, personally I’d get up and pump during the early hours, that’s what I did. Came in handy for baths etc
