Still worried about supply

Baby is 4.5 weeks old and EBF, had his tongue tie done last Monday but I still don’t think his latch is brilliant, he never opens his mouth wide like he should and during this mornings feed my breast felt quite deflated. What can I do to make sure my supply doesn’t reduce? He’s been having a lot of green tinged poos (which am I right in thinking are foremilk poos so not fatty?) and he’s snuffly and having lots of mucus in his bigger poos and I even spotted a bit of blood in a poo the other day. FYI I’m off milk but am on soy, first child had CMPA.

Look into a craniosacral therapist for babies. They specialize in tongue ties and can teach you how get baby to latch well. They can be covered by insurance and are a great resource. It’s crazy you weren’t referred to one. Stay hydrated and make sure you’re eating well and getting enough rest as those things contribute to supply. Try to power pump to help bring up your supply until you can get baby’s latch right.

@✨Wis 🇭🇹 Thank you I think I will! I already asked my other half to add baby onto his insurance (we’re in the UK but I don’t think it is offered on the NHS but he has insurance through work). I do know there’s a fair few who do it near us so I’m definitely going to see if it’s a tension thing. I’m not pumping at the moment but I do have a Haakka so might start hand expressing a little to see if that helps. Thank you so much ♥️

@✨Wis 🇭🇹 Cranial osteopath booked 🤞🏻
