Dummy help

I need some advice on how to wean my little one of his dummy. He’s started to really talk and communicate over the last few months which has been amazing however he knows exactly what ‘dodo’ is. He asks for it, he looks for it constantly. He does not sleep without it. I don’t mind him having it for sleep but he really does not need it throughout the day but because he can ask for it it’s hard to keep it from him. Nursery have actually told me he doesn’t have his dummy at all whilst he is there and that he never asks for it so that baffles me as it’s constant at home😂He gets upset when he doesn’t have it. Any tips or advice on how I can tackle this?

Cut the tip and when he tries it explain it is broken and there is no more of them!

I’ve seen people soak them in apple cider vinegar to make him not want it anymore

lol my nephew comes home from school, marches straight to his bed and gets his pacifier and blanket. Like a man on a mission. Hes 3. I find it so funny and adorable. But point is, this kid also doesn’t have his “dummy” at school but the minute he comes home…he is on a mission to reunite himself with it

We cut the tip x
