Hip Pain

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have been sleeping great but my hip pain is getting so bad and waking me up, it’s the side sleeping causing the issue, any ideas how to help? I do sleep with a pillow already between my legs

Personally I sleep on my back to avoid any hip pains. My doctor said it’s better for the baby as you stay straight and it allows them to be in a more comfortable and opened up position. I know people are about to come at me for this. But I have done my research in many languages and there are sooooo many studies, unfortunately uk is really behind on this, but I really encourage you to look into it before listening to “old wives tales” about sleeping and stillbirth

Doing some pregnancy stretches with the exercise ball just before I go to bed helps me sooooo much! Especially the circular movements on the ball with your hips. Before I did these, I used to get really bad pains in my right hip
