Nightfeeds🧸

Will try in the bedroom first and see how it works out, if not I'll probably go downstairs. I would have used the nursery, but we had to put the rocking chair in our bedroom, so wouldn't have anywhere to sit 🥲

I will not be moving from my bed 🤣 I’ll be breast feeding though. As little disturbance as possible hopefully. With our first it took forever to get her to resettle so aiming for as little fuss as possible x

I know my bottle feeding mummy friends took or got a spare prep machine to put in their bedroom x

I have made up a caddy for downstairs and the bedroom, supplies in a travel bag and top drawer of changing table in the nursery, so I’m never withoufj all the essentials for comforting, and changing. I plan to stay in bedroom, I like you have the crib the thermometer and will look at getting another red lamp as to not make it too light for feeds/changes. I have a portable changing mat as I will try to stay in bed ha x

I’m going to try breastfeeding, so hopefully should be from the bed! I’ve got the same bits as you, as well as a nappy caddy, it’s got things like muslins, nappies, wipes, spare onesies and swaddles, fold up changing mat, breast pads and pads in it. That’s all I could think about needing right now, as this is my first, so I’m not sure what will be necessary! Just trying to keep things as accessible as possible so I don’t have to keep getting up and out of bed! x

Going to try stay in the bedroom in the dark so she gets used to the different between night and day! I’ll be breastfeeding and probably pumping too like I did with my first so might have to go to the fridge etc in between but will keep her in the room.. whatever you do will be right for you! You’ll figure it out as you go I’m sure x x
