How do you feel about raising your children here in the UK?

For context, I am a South African woman who’s been living here in the UK for the past 6 years. It’s been an adjustment and one of the biggest reasons we moved was for safety and job security, also for better futures for our children. I have a 2.5 year old and a baby on the way and we’ve been pretty happy here. I’m increasingly seeing posts about people leaving the UK to go somewhere where it’s seen to be better to raise children and I’m wondering how others feel. I see some leaving to Dubai and some to the Nordic countries like Netherlands. I see safety here in the UK, but I also see badly behaved children (teens mostly) creating gangs etc. I see wonderful holidays with families in Europe, but I also see a lack of community and bullying in schools. There seems to be a lot of good, but also a lot of bad when it comes to raising a family. I’m wondering how others feel on raising their families here in the UK.

We are moving to Spain for this exact reason x

Is the grass always better on the other side? I believe that in every country, you're going to have pockets. If you're happy where you are and like the neighborhood and the schools seem good... then i wouldn't think moving is the answer!
