Grandmother kissed my baby

I’m sitting here absolutely fuming right now. I’m staying at my grandparents for the night while husband is on an overnight shift & I let my grandmother hold my 7 week old baby yesterday and I said “just don’t kiss her please” what does she do? Look me dead in the eyes and kiss my baby all over her face I immediately took my baby back and THEN she says she has a cold! And a runny nose and a cough 💔 I’m so angry and I’m absolutely terrified my baby is going to fall ill. I literally kept my baby home for 6 weeks until she was vaccinated and I’ve kept her so safe just for my grandmother to shit all over my boundaries the first time I break baby’s bubble. I’m no longer letting her hold my baby and she’s very upset at me but I honestly do not give a f**ck I would have driven home if it weren’t so late because I was so angry. What is with older people just not caring about our boundaries????

Your grandmother dosent sound like someone you should be around if she did it knowing that would annoy you. This annoyed me for you I would leave

If they don’t respect the boundaries that you have put in place for the safety of your baby then it sounds like they don’t get the privilege to see said baby anymore because the older generations like to think that we’re being ridiculous when we set these rules in place but don’t realize how much risk comes with babies being kissed
