1. I gave a blanket at like 1.5-2,2. Tried potty training at 2 and she didn’t grasp it, so at like 3 tried again and it went smoothly,3. Never used baby detergent, we just used the all clear/sensitive one for mine and her eczema, 4. You can limit liquids right before bed, or wake him for a change. Do it right before bed but if it isn’t leaking just change right away when he wakes up, leave a pad under him in case it leaks if you want that extra protection !
1. The AAP recommends 2 years old before blanket and pillow are given to kids. NHS recommends 1 year. 2. Depends on the kid, they should show you signs they are ready to start like telling you they're going to go/hiding when they go. 3. I only used baby detergent for the first month. We just use a "gentle" no dye detergent for all of our things. 4. We don't change overnight unless he poops. We just put a clean diaper on before bed and change him first thing when he wakes up.
1. They say you can switch at 12months. Totally depends on the child if they are able to get themselves out of a blanket (strangulation reasons) 2. Again depending on the child. And when they show signs of readiness. Can tell you they need to potty (even if the timing is off and they do it in their diaper) waking up dry from a nap. Which is a sign they can hold it for longer periods of time. And they should show interest! My son is almost 20m and is showing all the signs of readiness and has peed on the potty a few times now! 3. I never used baby detergent and just changed to a scent free detergent and add boosters to mine and husbands and baby just has a scent free wash!
