I have already moved babe up as I was struggling to carry her in and out of the house in the car seat, so thought I might as well get a 360 spin to help me put her in in the car. She’s around 8.5kg but I’m a weakling 😆 I have bought the cybex sirona and love it. I think they can be used from birth with newborn inserts but are most suitable from 5+ months to get a good fit with no insert, so are fine to use whenever you think your baby is outgrowing the infant carrier.
@Sally you don't have to carry the infant seat though? I never take it out of the car any more since she got heavy
Yea we’ve changed car seat, was way too heavy carrying him in and out. I can’t remember what one we have but it’s from 9months so we aren’t far off (a few days)
@Emmo yes I know but I found it easier to get her in and out of the car seat when I carried it into the house instead of keeping it in the car. That’s why I’ve switched to the 360 so it’s easier to get her into and out of it.
It depends what you mean by ‘toddler seat’ It’s a smooth transition to a decent rear facing seat next stage seat. Baby should not be in anything forward facing. What next stage seat do you have? X
@Sally fair enough, my Infant seat is 360° anyway
I believe the height limit is approx 87cm and weight is approx 13kg. How LO fits into the seat will also come into it as it depends on torso height more than leg length. I would ask for some advice on the fb group Bump to Booster - UK Car Seat Support as they should be able to advice approx how.much longer she has in this seat if you give them her hight and weight but also recommended a next stage car seat.
