Sleep regression

I think we've hit this mark recently. My LO used to sleep good stretches of 3-4 hours (sometimes 5) at night, and in the last few nights, he's up crying every 1.5 hours.. the only way he calms down and falls back asleep is if I feed him (he's exclusively EBF). He'll stay on the boob quite a while, but I doubt he's that hungry every time. I'm thinking he's using boob more for comfort. Are your babies the same? Have you found other methods of calming and getting them back to sleep?

Hope u stay at 1.5 hours 🙏 with my eldest he would wake with every sleep cycle at 40min… the only fix was co sleeping n having my boob out at his head level where his mouth or hands easily found them and he would go back to sleep easily, eventually without even waking me. But took some set up to get to that comfortable point…now weaned at age 3 he still holds my boob to fall asleep then cuddles dad all night …. I think my 2nd child only needs 1.5 hour feeds until midnight and then they’re ok for a while but it’s varying so i might be in the same boat as u shortly…

Exactly the same here, was doing 5/6 hour stretches. With only 1 feed in the night. Now waking every 1.5 hours. She’s using the breast for comfort, which I’m going with because last week she was rejecting the breast. We tried a couple of things but she really cries, so ends up back on the breast. We do lead down feeding abdominal then transfer her into the crib - that way I can relax and helps me fall asleep quicker. We had a better night tonight though - 4 hour stretch, heard her stir a couple of times in the night but she settled herself 🤞🤞🤞
