Sleeping layers?!

Our bedroom is on average 20 degrees at the moment so I have our baby in a vest, sleep suit and love2dream moderate swaddle. Paranoid about him overheating does this sound about right in terms of layers? Looking online and cant make head nor tail or what to do as so tired! Also have our window open for fresh air so and room doesnt go below 19 degrees.

We're exactly the same. The room is average 20 degrees with the window open and baby wears a vest, sleepsuit and love2dream swaddle.

So according to that picture it would be too many layers?

I would say a short sleeve vest, sleep suit and light/medium swaddle will be fine just check his chest with 2 fingers to check temp

Thank you all ❤️ he seems ok in the current setup @Jess the midwives said one more layer than us so thats pjs, duvet plus one extra so thats gotta be ok?

Yeah I think it's okay 😊

My room is the same and I dress my little boy the exact same as you 🥰

We tend to keep our house about 17/18 degrees at night and baby sleeps in short sleeved vest, sleep suit and cellular blanket. I have the mitten sleepsuits so fold them over her hands. She is always toasty when I feel the back of her neck snd sleeps fine. Flushed red cheeks are also a sign baby might be too warm x
