We started being intimate again around 2 weeks, and had sex just after 3 weeks. I stopped bleeding at 2 weeks and had no tears or grazes this time. With my first we waited until 4 weeks to be intimate and the full 6 weeks for sex. Whenever you feel ready!
Where your placenta detaches it's basically an open wound the recommended time is 6 weeks due to risk of infection. Even worse if you had a section I won't be until I've had my 6 week check.
I'd wait the full 6 weeks due to the risk of infection for full sex, anything else when you feel ready, though I'm 3 weeks pp today and tried to masturbate and my vagina hurt after, like a bad ache, so I don't think I'm ready 😅
First time we had sex after 4 weeks exactly (had two 2nd degree tears but recovered well etc) This time I’ll be 4 weeks tomorrow (no tears) and we’ve done stuff but not fully. Wouldn’t be opposed after tomorrow
i only grazed during labor and we started having sex again just after the 3 week mark, we just made sure to take it slow and gentle and stopped if it ever hurted, and obviously used condoms. you know your body and when you’re ready better than anyone
I had a 2 degree tear so will be at least 6 weeks for me if not longer. So much pain from the stitches down there😅 couldn't think of anything worse for me personally right now. But if you felt ready I don't see the issue really!
