@Rachel it was a haven site in wales, this time we are going to a parkdean site in wales. I’m just worried I’ll get dirty looks again 😂
We’ve just came back from haven in Blackpool and loads of people done this. Tbh I wish we had of. As it was a nightmare getting 6 kids ready in a tiny little changing room and trying to keep clothes dry xx
We’ve been to a haven and a Parkdean and we walked to the swimming pool semi dressed - my partner had a T shirt and swim shorts, I had trousers over my swimming costume, both boys were in their all in one costumes. On the way back to the Caravan me and my partner just had towels round us and the boys were sat in the pram wrapped in towels. We didn’t get any dirty looks. It sounds like it was the park where you were, or possibly you’re reading too much into it?
Ah ok I’m going to Haven in Devon I hope the people are friendly 🙈
We done 2 different Haven sites last year n no one said a thing when we done this. Think there's always gonna be a one person that doesn't like it. Don't let it put u off tho just enjoy ur holiday x
I’m in the US, and I’ve been camping multiple times a year my whole life. This is very normal at all the campsites I’ve been to.
Probably just that place. I walk around the caravan park in just my bikini on hot days w like shorts on or a skirt. That way if we’re walking to the pools I can just take off the shorts. We jump in and out of the pool all day so the kids just dry off in the sun playing or scooting in their bathers, until after dinner bath then we change them. Maybe the looks weren’t for that? Or they were just normal looks not “dirty” looks sometimes we can misinterpret them
Where was this. We’ve booked our first caravan holiday for this May lol I have a toddler and a baby so anything to make life easier I understand x
