Baby Movements

When did people feel their first baby’s movements? I’m 17 weeks and unsure if I keep feeling things but it’s not consistent/everyday

Around 16 weeks started feeling flutters, nothing consistent until 24 weeks. Was told not to expect consistent feelings until 26 weeks xx

I’ve been feeling the occasional kicking feeling - kind of feels like a twitch / light flick, since 17 + 5 days but only when laid / sat down. Yesterday I was pressing on my belly to see if I could feel him, and he very noticeably kicked my hand 🥰 it’s still very sporadic and I don’t notice it every day

I’ve felt this one a lot earlier than my first. But the placenta is at the back this time. With my first I was over 20 weeks when it became more noticeable. I’m 18 weeks now and I’ve definitely been feeling this baby for the last 3 (which is very strange compared to last time 🙈) but it’s mainly when lying down on an evening. I don’t think you need to worry about consistency till over 24 weeks.

As a first time mum I didn’t feel/notice anything till I was 26 weeks 😭. I felt little “blips” before then from around 22 weeks but nothing that I could definitely say was baby. If anything it felt more like a fart was brewing 😂

I’m almost 16 weeks and I’ve been feeling ‘pops’ or little flutters/tickles in the very bottom of my stomach.. I’ve spoken to someone about it and they’re sure it’s light baby movements because it’s in the same places at the same time of day (Not everyday and not consistent) The placenta is high up & towards the back But I’m still convinced it’s just gas/digestion, I won’t be convinced until I get karate chopped🤣🫣

I have been able to feel bubbles since the start of this week (18 weeks) but it is my second baby! On an evening when lying in bed or when I’m driving in the car!
