Changing formula
Has anyone changed from nutramigen LGG 1 to Aptamil Pepti?
Baby girl has been on nutramigen for 3 weeks now and initially she was great on it, but over the past week I’ve noticed that she is getting very uncomfortable and in pain before she has bowel movements again. The dr said I could change to aptamil Pepti when I went for her 8 week jabs but it had only been two weeks by that point and the discomfort had only just started so I wanted to see how she got on before changing her formula again.
What are your experiences with this?

@Toni oh really? That’s strange isn’t it that the symptoms returned. Did your baby settle on it at first and then symptoms slowly reappear? To be honest I didn’t even know that till recently, I was still putting a tiny bit of boiling water in the bottom to sterilise the formula like I did previously x
Yeah, she started off really well then after about a week she started getting upset on the formula, her poos were still mucus like and she was throwing up alot. She did have reflux too but her rash wasn't going either so we knew it was also the formula not working x

I had to change for exact same reason after 2 weeks plus other symptoms were returning too. She's so much better on aptamil pepti now, she's thriving and all her symptoms have improved. It felt weird that you made nutramigen with room temperature water and I think that was upsetting her tummy too
