Positive stories after miscarriage?

Just feel like I’m stuck in a dark place and hoping for some lovely stories of how you conceived after miscarriage? How long it took? Advice… I’m 4 days post miscarriage but will be trying as soon as I am able to.

I fell pregnant 3 months after my miscarriage and all was perfectly fine 😊 your time will come x

I’m sorry for your loss. I spent the days after my miscarriage crying my eyes out, letting myself feel my grief as, even though I planned to try again asap, I wanted to make sure I marked the baby that I’d lost. We gave them a name, wrote letters and planted forget-me-nots. I didn’t realise your cycle resets after a miscarriage so had to use ovulation sticks to figure out when to try again, less than two months later I was pregnant with my daughter. My advice is to let yourself heal and don’t expect that pregnancy will heal your grief as it can keep sneaking up on you.

Currently snuggling my new baby girl born almost a year after my d&c for missed miscarriage. Remember a lot can change in a year but agree with Kate, let yourself grieve first. We wrote lost baby a letter and planted them a little bit of garden. I conceived 3 months post mc but do be aware pregnancy after loss is hard especially at the beginning so take care of yourself mentally. I stil grieve our lost one.

I’ve messaged you xx

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the worst feeling in the world. I had a missed miscarriage in December 2023, fell pregnant in February 2024 and my little rainbow is now nearly 5 months old 🌈❤️ I'd really recommend The Worst Girl Gang Ever (Instagram/facebook/podcasts/support groups). They helped me alot.

Took me a while to get pregnant after my miscarriage but that was also because of my weight at the time. A year later got pregnant with my little girl who’s now nearly 15 months. So sorry for your loss your time will come and I wish you all the luck and baby dust in the world ❤️

It's so sad and so hard. Sending you love! I fell pregnant the next cycle - about 2 weeks after the miscarriage (so no period in between or anything) - I then had some bleeding throughout my first trimester so it was quite a stressful first few months - I didn't tell people about my pregnancy for a while as I was so scared of jinxing it, which is really sad thinking back.. but I'm looking at my gorgeous 5 month old baby now 💕🥰

I had a missed miscarriage and d&c march last year, then I ignored advice and got pregnant straight away without even waiting for a period which unfortunately ended in another miscarriage as my body hadn’t healed. I then fell pregnant again in October and am now 25 weeks xx

I’ve had 2 losses early on at 5 weeks. We went private and the Dr gave me a prescription for progesterone pessaries as my progesterone results through NHS tests came back low. Currently 13 weeks, nervous every day still. I forced the dr to refer me to the miscarriage clinic after my 2nd one, despite them being adamant they don’t usually do it until you have had 3 miscarriages. I didn’t take no for an answer. They did more tests which were helpful. Stay at it but take the time you need to process it also, it’s a lot 🤍🤍 There’s support groups or counsellors to help too

I've had two early losses first one at 8 weeks and second one at 6 weeks then had a few months where I couldn't conceive but I have since fallen pregnant and am currently 17 weeks. It will happen just don't put too much pressure on yourself and take a break if it's getting too much trying to conceive. We had just booked a holiday abroad in September after I had failed a few times to get pregnant and decided to relax a bit more and not stress about conceiving and guess what I fell pregnant due in September 😊xx

I had one in August and fell pregnant again January. my fingers are crossed for you x

I had a missed miscarriage Jan 2024 and Jan 2025 I gave birth to my perfect lil boy. I fell pregnant in May, so 4 months after. Your time will come and as heartbreaking as it was, I had to go through it to get to him, he's my whole world now 🖤

Miscarriage Christmas 2020. Found out I was expecting November 2021. Got my rainbow baby now, she's 2.5 :)

I had a miscarriage in feb of 2023 I was so hurt. I convinced myself the timing would have been terrible and I should use this year to focus on self. I made all these plans only to become pregnant 4 months later with my now 1 year

So sorry for your loss 😔 I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. We managed to get pregnant again within a couple of months (in hindsight it was probably too fast as we didn’t have long to grieve) but I’m sat here holding my now 7 month old. Pregnancy after loss is hard so look after each other, sending lots of hugs. X

@Ellie when did you start your pessaries, will ttc or once you wer pregnant?

I had a missed miscarriage last May and fell pregnant in November. Unfortunately that was a chemical but 3 months later I fell pregnant again and my beautiful baby girl is now 17 weeks old 🥰 I’m so sorry you’re going through this, but it will happen again for you I promise 💕

So so sorry, be gentle with yourself and take the time you need to grieve 🤍 I waited to have a period before trying after my miscarriage, our first try wasn't successful as I think my body was still recovering, but I then fell pregnant the following month and my little boy is now 7 months. Sending lots of hope 🌈❤️

I fell pregnant after 2 miscarriages, 1 resulting in a D&C, it will happen x

I had a MMC April 2021 at 8 weeks. I was so determined to get pregnant again quickly but it didn’t happen again until January 2022. I hated the whole “you’re more fertile after MC” as it sets an expectation and when it didn’t happen it was devastating. I would really say to not put pressure on it as it really doesn’t help. Sorry for your loss. It will happen for you, keep positive x

We didn’t try again for maybe like 2 years but now I have a beautiful 15m old boy who I adore and who makes me laugh everyday! Take your time 💖

Hey, I had a missed miscarriage and D&C in January 2023. Fell pregnant again in November 2023 and had our wee rainbow baby in August 2024. The due dates we had were very close together, so while it took us a while to conceive again, apparently some people just have cycles that are better than others, but the waiting for that positive test every month was hard. My midwife was really lovely and supportive 🥰

I conceived around 3 weeks later, with no period in between. Now 23 weeks with our second little boy 🥰 everything looks perfect and had no issues at all. Sending love! X

All the love to you!!! I had my miscarriage in 2023, and it took about aa year for my body to sort everything out so to speak, I have PCOS too which makes conception all the more difficult! However in Feb/March 2024 I found out I was pregnant and Nov 2024 I had my 🌈 boy!!!

@Incognito they told me to start as soon as I got a positive result, so I did. I know someone who also has low progesterone but has had other complications with remaining tissue and ectopic so they want her to have a scan after a positive test before starting pessaries. So it can be personalised, it seems.
