I sometimes do when my toddler is down for her nap and baby is fed and settled. Or ill bring her in bed with me x
I managed to force myself to take naps by cutting out caffeine, eating lots to spike blood sugar and using an eye mask, doing nights on my own so I feel soo much better if I nap! X
I wish I could.. my toddler is feral, and my baby hates lying down flat during the day 😂😂
I have a 2 hour nap at around lunchtime after I have fed my baby girl, my partner stays downstairs with her until she is due another feed (he then comes and wakes me) still very new to this routine but it helps with the sleepless nights and doesn’t leave me completely exhausted xx
If my 2 yo and our newborn are napping at the same time then I try...hasn't happened so far though, 2.5 weeks in 😂
If I’ve had a really bad night I will try to nap for an hour when baby does. If not I do housework instead x
Tried so many times but I can't seem to nap in the day at all no matter how exhausted I am 😴🥺 xx
Can’t recommend it enough. If you have a baby that wakes every 2-3 hours at night, screw the housework. Try to nap or the very least relax and DO Nothing! Your body spent 9 months creating and keeping a human alive. It’s gone through major events with child birth. Ditch the mum guilt and give yourself a break.
Only once so far but I think when my husband goes back to work next week I'll end up napping more 😅
