Broken night sleep

My LO has never been a good sleeper. She contact naps pretty much all of the time and at night will only go down in the cot for maybe one of her sleeps. She wakes up mostly every hour. After what feels like endless put downs, she ends up getting in the bed with me and then wants to be on the breast all night to sleep. She’s 7 months now and has not grown out of it at all. Is this meant to get better at some point?

Waiting for an answer, mines 7 months too he’s the exact same!

I could have written this my 7 month old firebrand want feeding just wakes up a lot and needs resettling, she cries out a lot of the time too

Is she actually feeding or is she using it as comfort. Does she have a dummy and as horrible as it sounds if you stop the contact napping she’ll probably sleep better in the night. My little one is 8 months as of yesterday and she’s been sleeping 18:30-7:30 since she was 4 months. She’ll always have her last bottle at 18:30 and her first bottle she has about an hour after she wakes. I stopped contact napping at 3 months because I didn’t want these sort of issues.

What is she looking for when waking every hour? There are so many leaps and growth spurts. During the day we have contact naps, she sleeps in her bed or alone in my bed first hours of the night.

@Gloria she just wants resettling. If she wakes up in her cot she will kick off until she is picked up. She never falls asleep independently. Most of the time through the night she settles on the breast but isn’t actually hungry she is just looking for comfort.
