I had this, buy some silver nursing cups and just use them until the pain goes and then if it restarts use them! Double check your latch as well as may be latch issues, can ask your health visitor for latching advice x

I use the lanolin nipple cream when they get sore, it’s amazing.. Also check the latch when feeding, I found they got sore when he wasn’t latching properly/ or just latching when he was tired for comfort xxx

Sounds like a latch issue. It shouldn't be painful. My babba has made me feel like a numb stinging sensation mind when sucking for ages, figured she'd drunk me dry 😂 With the latch they need help getting the nip to the back of their mouth so try to 'cone' it in with your fingers to help. Try to get more of the lower area in their mouth too x

Get some nipple shields, you can get them from boots/amazon etc. They massively help when your sore, also silver nipple cups for after you’ve finished feeding. Maybe also check for bf support groups, I’ve had friends pop along to one and they’ve massively helped latch/position etc 🤍
