Brown discharge

Any one else experiencing small amounts of brown discharge? I had a cervical exam 2 days ago. Triage said that may be why and not to worry unless it’s bright red . Still over thinking . I’m also thinking maybe mucus plug or cervix moving? I’m 37+5.
