Breastfeeding/solids

I breast feed on demand and I do solids as well so I wanna know if there’s any other mommas feeding like that and what are some meals you feed baby? How many meals a day of solids? How often do you breast milk vs solids? I’m scared I’m not feeding her enough, her doctor says her weight is good but that was for her 9mo check up and she doesn’t go back till 12mo.

I have the same worry. When he’s teething or not feeling well he doesn’t do well with solids. So he’s lately been just demand feeding only. Following for meal ideas

I breastfeed on demand. I aim to feed him three times a day with in between snacks and water. For breakfast A boiled or cooked egg with an orange/pear/ kiwi whichever fruit I have Or yogurt mixed with cut grapes & strawberries Or French toast with peanut butter I rotate depending on him sometimes he doesn’t want anything. Lunch I always prep in advance , I steam carrots/ sweet potatoes into strips. He’ll either get lentils with tomato or beans Dinner is a combination of lunch and breakfast whatever is on hand for me. For snacks he loves strawberries, frozen grapes frozen water on this pacifier thing I got him. Honestly feeding solids is so stressful for me 🤣 I just constantly give him different things .

@Daniella thank you this was helpful. He stole my French toast stick the other day and I let him go at it 🤣

My baby is 10months and I do about 4-4 4oz of breast milk bottles daily, then do 3 solid meals a day, I also will give her snacks or another bottle throughout the day if she seems hungry. Breakfast- eggs, whole milk Greek yogurt, fruit. Or I do cream of wheat with fruit. Or homemade mini waffles or pancakes. (I make a bunch and freeze them) and then Avocado toast. Lunch- some sort of meat chopped very fine, mixed with avocado, with rice or quinoa with Greek yogurt and fruit. Dinner- whatever I’m making for dinner for us she eats. Other options- sweet potato’s, mashed potatoes, beans, cucumber, bell peppers, broccoli. Cheese quesadilla. Carrots. Those puree pouches, noodles and sauce, homemade soups. I still season and make her food actually taste good with not too much salt. Pinterest is nice to get some easy ideas as well.
