From the second they are born for both me & dad.

You can kiss your babies from when they’re born from mum and dad ONLY. Kissing them on the lips creates good antibodies and all the good stuff to their health in general (I’ve been told this at the hospital)

On the lips? Never for anyone including me and my son’s dad. On the head, from about 6 months.

🤣🤣🤣 from the second they were born as long as you’re not unwell. (myself and dad). not sure how any parent could wait haha

Fair enough for you, but most of my friends are mums and we’ve been advised this and have done so. If you’re not comfy don’t do it I suppose.

My logic is more that I don’t know who carries the herpes virus. Myself and my son’s dad both do. I don’t have active flare ups but it can still be transmitted and I’d never forgive myself. With regards to other people though I wouldn’t want anyone kissing my kid on the lips I think it’s unnecessary, the head is fine. People do what they’re comfortable with tho and I think culture plays a big role in this too!

That’s true too, ahh I’m sorry but we all know what’s best for our babies end of the day

No kissing on lips from even me or my husband - it’s actually really dangerous :-( Cheeks and head 🥰🥰🥰

A1 day 1 🙌🏼

Yes get kissing now your baby, oh my those lips, remind me of my son, he has lovely big lips too 😍✨

I kissed my sons lips the day he was born and haven't stopped 😘

I only very occasionally kiss my son's mouth. Mostly just kiss his forehead/cheek or the top of his head, or hands. Not really for any particular reason think I'm just a bit paranoid😆

Well sounds like I’ve been missing out for 6 months 🤣🙈 pucker up baby boy!!

I’ve always kissed my baby

As long as mum or dad have no active cold cores, or viruses, then it’s absolutely fine to kiss your baby on the lips!

Get smouching ✨🙂

I waited until 5-6 months because I get cold sores and was nervous- but now (9 months) he gives me big wet smooches 😘

I'm not against it, we just don't 😆 Recently she's learning how to show affection so she sometimes turns to me with an open mouth while I kiss her cheek, meaning I get her mouth by accident. That's only since about 10 months though x

Your own babies from when they are born. As long as you’re not sick or smoking x

I kiss my daughter on the lips all the time, but only me. Not even her dad does. He kisses her face though

I’ve never had a cold sore though

Sweet smile, once they comfortable with it,anytime

Birth

I don’t kiss my kids on the mouth. To each their own. Mom & dad can kiss cheeks/head whenever, at least that’s what we did.

If it’s your baby and your not unwell then whenever but personally I didn’t kiss her on lips until she started giving me kisses lol cheeks and head from birth tho 😂

I didn’t kiss my baby on lip just cheeks and head, but my mother in law did it and it made me very uncomfortable and I told her not to do it.
