My little one likes really basic things… - Lentils, cups and scoops on a tray - A washing up bowl of water and different coloured lids saved from the recycling (can do this outside now thank goodness) - plastic plates and cups for a teddy bears picnic - random kitchen items and a little frying pan to ‘cook’ I try to rotate toys a bit a couple of times a week after he’s gone to bed so I can get a few minutes without needing to entertain him in the morning… His favourite thing is just wondering about outside looking at things at the moment.
A day time bath can kill a good 45 mins 😂 or just a basin with water and toys for them to play with. Random bits that shes ‘not allowed’ ie my make up bag but its just things she can open ie clean sponges or brushes and hair clips, I leave that out and shes delighted as she thinks its exciting as its mine
We freeze random things in water and put it in a tray to melt and for her to play with. She loves it 🤣🤣. We also make oobleck (Cornflour and water) and put it in the tray. We add different colours to it and flavours i.e Almond for her to smell too. It's a really wierd texture.
I'm also heavily pregnant, I bought my little girl a tuff tray with stand and pop different things in it, today she has sand the last 2 days I made some playdough, or use a little bit of water with sea animals etc
