Head banging during tantrums
How do I stop it??? It’s stressing me out to the max 😭😭😭

It’s so horrible isn’t it! I’m really struggling with what to do, I’m scared to leave him in case he hurts himself but then I’m worried he’ll keep doing it if I give in to the tantrum. He is the sweetest little boy and I’m really hating seeing him hurt himself 😣😣
We went through it but I just ignored it. He used to cry when I told him no then bang his head on the floor. And suggest just ignore it. If you react they will know they get a reaction and keep doing it. Mine has stopped now. Good luck
My HV said it’s a developmental thing but it’s horrible to see and she recommended just trying to distract when he does it
