Did anyone get married after having kids? If so, how did you include them in your wedding ceremony or reception?

We’re doing a vow renewal, our girls will be 4,5 and 9. They will be my bridesmaids. I would like my oldest to read scripture or a poem. What else could I do?

Had our son part of the wedding party. My nephews, niece, and my son were flower children

Our toddler was my bridesmaid 💕 she was too little to do anything but she wore a beautiful dress and matching accessories to me and she chose the ice cream afterwards and the playlist on the honeymoon road trip that afternoon. Mint choc chip and Sesame Street 😂

I had a son from a previous relationship when I got married, he was the best man and kept the rings 🥹

My son from a previous relationship was the ring bearer when my husband and I got married. He would have been almost 10 at that time.

I left my boy out he was 5 months I thought eh no point in that stress

I had my daughter walk me down the aisle

Our son was 2 at our wedding. I got him a sign to carry that said "daddy here comes mummy". I was a bit overwhelmed so wouldn't walk down, so one of my bridesmaids carried him. We also had a cake topper that was bride, groom and a child to represent our family

@s a r a 🥀 omg, This is too cute! You’re so beautiful!

@Lisa I love the cake topper idea!

@Dana 🦅♥️🤍💙 thank you!

Ugh I just know this is going to be so beautiful and so so special 🥹🥹🥹
