Getting them off the boob for good

Help lol It's been a year and a half... I think I've hit my limit. She's got so many teeth now (14) and 90% of the time she's not even seriously eating, she's playing with my nipple, on-off-on-off constantly. I feel like the water bottle in a hamster cage. But she has an absolute meltdown down when I try to deny her for too long. I try telling her no, it's not time for that right now, distracting her with other things like snacks, foods, milk or whatever. Sometimes it works, or works for a bit, and other times it doesn't work at all and she just gets more and more upset. I've kinda gotten her to only wake up/bedtime when I'm at work, but my days off it's back to the meltdowns throughout the day if I deny her. What has worked for you guys? Any tips or tricks? Is she just not ready yet and I need to suck it up??? I feel bad. But I also struggle sometimes feeling like I have zero bodily autonomy and am over stimulated. I can't even go to the bathroom or shower most of the time without her busting in, or if I actually close the door she's out there crying to be let in cause she can't see me. Mostly I don't mind, but some days it's just ... A lot. I'm getting sidetracked, though. Thank you in advance for any advice ❤️

Weaning is a very unique experience BUT here are some tools that can help. You also have to be emotionally prepared yourself for the emotions that your little one will experience. You can put band aids over your nipples Put cabbage leaves in your bra to dry up your supply There are lactation teas that are specifically formulated to help dry your milk up You can wear body suits with high neck lines You can also try to move her to only night feeds by pushing feeds further back to start Make sure to explain the process to her
