Looks like she's testing her leg strength. Maybe working towards standing. Obviously not quite there yet, but getting there.

@Lianna she can hold on and stand though so she would have the leg strength already right?

@Jody I'm not sure. She's likely exploring what her body can do. So impressive that she's standing. My daughter won't even let me put her knees under her to get into a crawling position haha

i say shes training for body building so she can destroy all the other babies that get in her way 💪 (on a real note i have no idea)

@Lianna she wasn’t able to stand at first when I put her up I’d have to support her but now she is. Don’t worry ur baby will crawl when she wants to or who knows she might skip it and start walking

My lil one does this too! They’re just learning new things ! Mine isn’t crawling quite yet but does stuff like this to get there.

My son does this too! He’s crawling and pulling to stand. This seems to be the next progression to standing on his own

It’s normal ! Mine has been doing this for the last month or so, as well as my sisters 6 month old ! They’re both crawling now and they both started with doing this downward dog lol . Just another milestone !
