@Kdec22 Ah that’s good to hear! Definitely calmed my nerves a bit I thought it was just going to cause complications x
My first was back to back when labor started after being perfectly positioned the whole pregnancy and in the end I still birthed him just needed the suction cup, to help a little.
My daughter was back to back until around 36 weeks. I did exercises on my ball including figure of 8 and back and forth. Also just went on as many walks as possible. At my 38 week check up, she’d moved into the correct position and stayed there until I gave birth. Just remember to do ball exercises every day and try and go for a walk every day. Even if it’s only a short one xx
Hey I’m currently 36 weeks and my baby boy is currently back to back, I’m glad to hear other people are having normal births with just gas and air xx
@Becky Thankyou ! X
@Sophia perfect Thankyou I’ll definitely do this xx
@Lana Oldfield me too🫣xx
My baby is head down spine to my left. Has been since 20 weeks (with only 2 days of "straying" from this position at 38 weeks). I have been told that as baby progresses the head basically acts as a "screw" and baby rotates as it passes through the birth canal. Back to back is a little concerning and the above was the reassurance I was given. It's only really a concern if baby is "back to back" as they are leaving you. Try not to worry either way. If bouncing on the ball helps relieve stress and worry- go ahead with that :)
My first was back to back and it was all fine in the end. She turned herself as she was coming out x
My first labour was a back to back labour. I obviously have nothing to compare it to, but everything went smoothly even though he didn’t turn, no interventions or medication needed other than gas & air
