I've had the same and it took me a month for it to heal! The silver cups didn't work for me though as I was leaking milk everywhere while wearing them
@Arianna did you just carry on breastfeeding as normal?
Nipples were bleeding so had to use formula. I had to hand express to avoid breaking the skin and not get engorged.
@Arianna I'd recommend wearing breast pads on top of the silver cups to catch leaking milk, I had the same issue to start with until I did that
@Chloe I did that but it was just too much milk leaking out so wasn't working for me x
@Arianna oh it's not worth it then! I actually found they sort of dug in bit too so not that comfy. Thankfully my nipples seem to have toughened up a bit now baby is 7 weeks old so don't really need them anymore. But nipple cream works well for those of us who didn't get on with the silver cups, just have to apply after every single feed x
