Tell me what you know and baby and mom being separated.

Im trying to keep this short... Financial hardship. No village locally. Mom going back to work. I've ran the numbers. If I work all the days I can, we will be okay. Daycare is too expensive for both my children so I've asked my mom if she can keep my babies for 2 weeks. She lives 5 hours away. It'll be my mom, grandma and sister rotating childcare. I'm worried about the separation for the little one. He doesn't always freak out when I leave but sometimes he does. He's 7 months. Will this separation damage him in anyway? Will he remember me? I know I will probably miss out on milestones, how do I mentally and emotionally prepare for that?
