Hello! Is there anyone who has delivered their babies in NYP lower Manhattan? I want to know if you guys had private postpartum rooms or you share? And if you had private, did you pay extra or you call to “book” any special room? Thank you!

I delivered at the upper manhattan nyp. There you have a private room no extrs cost, no matter the type of insurance and its beautiful

Hi I just delivered there 4 weeks ago. The first day there I had a shared room (only for a few hours) and the remaining days I had a private room. When I check the hospital bill I did see an extra charge for the private room but it was covered by insurance. I hope this helped!
