Are Pumping’ pal flanges good?

I’m dealing with drop in milk supply and I’ve been asked to pump every 3 hours and power pump twice a day. My nipples are hurting and sore. I came across pumpin pal flanges. Has anyone tried it? Is it safe to use and won’t cause drop in milk supply? Edit: I am using flange sizes measured and recommended by a lactation consultant.

I've never tried them but I was always told you just want to make sure you have the correct flange sizes most standard flanges that come with pumps are too big for what we need and you need to buy inserts.

Try checking the make of your pump, they might make their own flanges compatible for the pump. Can also try a nipple cream when pumping too x

I've been thinking about buying them for a while I heard they were good. Especially if you have elastic nips.

I’ve heard really good things about the pumpin pal flanges increasing pumping comfort and output but I haven’t tried them myself. Putting a tiny bit of coconut oil or nipple balm in your plastic flanges can help them be more comfortable while pumping in the meanwhile!

Another tip is to get silicone flange inserts, I did this and it helped me so much ( I have elastic nipples no flange fits me right) I also started using coconut oil which was a life saver
