We have these too! They definitely do help a little! Xx
Same boat. Send help. Not coping. Lol. I did get a trike - so he can steer and try to reach the pedals and stuff and he absolutely loves it. I got one that has a high back and 5 point harness and security bumpers and a shade, for £20 off Marketplace. I can push and steer and when he's a bit older he can pedal properly. But it's a beast to keep in the car and assemble so we often just go free range and gosh it's a workout. He loves trying to run into the road too, it's his favourite game. I do try not to worry. Yesterday, he went flying off a wheelchair ramp onto stone floor - belly flopped, hard. I imagined loose teeth, blood, split tongue. He did cry but soon as I picked him up he wiggled back down, sprinted back up the ramp and attempted to jump off the other side. He can't even jump yet. We have had bumps, tongue bites, chin grazes, scrapes and it's all very very quickly forgotten.. very resilient
In the same exact boat with my LG We have backpack reins which seems to help and I just hold her close when on the pavement and let her go when we're in the park etc
