Mom guilt..

How can I get over my guilt I feel trying to leave my toddler at the gym child care? I desperately need to get back in shape but feel terrible trying to leave her..she always gets upset.

I guarantee you she gets over it in a couple if minutes and has a great time with the other kids! You deserve to take care of yourself!

I recently started bringing my son to the gym day care in February! I was so nervous I clipped an air tag to his shirt tag the first 5 times and had the location pulled up on my phone my whole workout🤣🤣🤣 but now I know the lady pretty well and can tell she’s a good person so I’m not as nervous. Babies are gonna cry when you leave the first few times whether they’re 1 at gym daycare or 4 and starting pre school. There’s no avoiding it! Every time I pick him up she says the same thing, he cried for 5 mins and then forgot. He loves playing with the other kids and NEEDED the socialization and time away from me anyway!

This is video from the very first pick up! He didn’t even run over to me! 🤣 he was like oh, you again.

@Emily @KK thanks ladies 🥹 Also @KK your gym child care looks so fun!!

It is really cute in there! And there’s a baby section separated with some swings and walkers lol.

I would look it at as a new skill. She eventually needs to learn to be away from you but it's something she's never done before. As she gets used to the new setting and the caregivers, it will get easier!

You guys, I did it today and she loved it! Idk if she turned a corner or remembered that it’s actually fun. But I kept trying to hype it up to her before we went. She’s gotten so good at understanding things now that she’s closer to 2. She literally ran inside yelling PLAY!! and didn’t look back 😭
