Not asking for medical advice

My baby was born March 16 he’s 3 weeks today 🥹 but has been having diarrhea constantly! I did inform his pediatrician and she did a full evaluation and everything checked out good with him! No sickness or illlness she suggested I put him on a prebiotic as well as start one myself and stated it could be due to my diet however I don’t believe I have a bad diet! I eat ok for the most part baby is still having diarrhea and it’s been 1 week has anyone else gone through this why breastfeeding

Hey my baby was born the 15th and he has diarrhea but from my understanding it’s normal at that age for them to have wet poop. Especially breast feeding moms

I’m on my second kid and my first was formula fed and I believe her poops were wet until she had solids introduced. This one is breastfed and has runny poops which I heard was normal

I had asked my pediatrician a similar question about my babies poop and he said that the yellow watery poops are normal for breastmilk fed babies!

Breastfeed babies completely normal for it to be liquidy and seedy only time for alarm with diarrhea with baby is if the diaper is soaked with poop with no pieces just pure liquid and if it has large amounts of mucus for several days its also normal when changing formulas

It’s normal for breastfed babies to have a yellow mustard mushy and can turn sticky poop. Everything should be okay baby is eating really good and his poo is letting you know that he is getting enough from you. Also it is true that what you eat can have an affect on his tummy especially if it’s something acidic

I had to change my diet a little. My daughter had a persistent diaper rash for over a week when she was first born. It was the acidic foods on my diet. I didn't fully eliminate things, just reduced. I could eat acidic food all day I will have to ditch really spicy things though. I had some chopped jalapeños in my food on Friday and she pooped all day yesterday 😅
