Mine did but only the first and second time around. Are you using a stool softener?

@Candice no I’m not taking one. I’m not constipated. I poop at least once or twice a day. They just seem to be larger so they hurt for some reason. Never had this problem.

@Candice whats weird is it didn’t start until more recently because pooping after birth actually wasn’t bad.

My doctor prescribed docustat for the first 3 months i just ran out of my refills

I wasn’t either, it just helps to soften it up lol

I took stool softener!

Probably Hemorrhoids get a ointment to reduce the inflamation

Sorry but it’s the toilet paper that makes it painful, start using water and avoid wiping with toilet paper u will see the difference, it happened to me too

Mine started like that, now I'm 9months pp and I have awful hemorrhoids. Got to have surgery... I'm praying it's not the same, but if so, defo stop using toilet paper. I use baby wipes and a peri bottle after pooping, and a sitz bath can really help too X

All the above but I'd recommend more fibre rather than something from doctor. My OH has dried mango every day, I have 4 dates every day, figs are also good. Have you checked your bum yourself? Put a small mirror on the side of the bath/a chair, then bend over and have a look. Should give you an idea if it's structural or digestive issues :)

Yes! i had to take stool softeners and laxatives for a while, my stitching and scarring was very close so i had to be careful x
