Early Rising

Anyone got any tips for early rising? My LO is waking around 4/4:30am. I then spend the next 30 mins trying to get her back to sleep, as she seems so tired still, but she inevitably is wide awake by 5am and I’ve been up since 4!

I was just about to post the same! Need tips… one of my twins wakes at 5am and that’s her up, she won’t go back to sleep. She has a bottle around 3 so is literally back to sleep for an hour and half and then is up x

No tips but same

If they're awake for a long time and just chilling/not upset then I'd say it's likely a drop in sleep needs, try tweaking your routine and increasing wake time during the day! Especially if they start fighting naps - delay by 15 mins.

My LO would wake at 5am all the time. We did a later bedtime, longer wake window between last nap and bedtime, longer wake windows in general and shortening daytime naps. My LO is a low sleep needs baby, maybe workout how much sleep your LO gets in 24 hours across naps and nighttime and then take away the hours they have in naps throughout the day and that will leave you with how long they sleep at night for. And then count back from the time you want them to wake up and that should give you an ‘ideal’ bedtime. It took a few weeks of tweaking for us to get it right

My girl starts waking around 4am, can get her to drop off on and off until 5:30 then she’s up for the day.

What time does she go bed and have naps?
